Description

City Resource Ltd established in 2008, an owner operated business, is an East Anglian based recruitment agency that prides itself on service excellence.

Through continued growth and success, a new role has been formed in our back office personnel.

Fleixble working hours from our Head Office in Peterborough City Centre 4 days a week and the option to work from home 1 day a week, Monday to Friday, duties will include:

  • Responsible for all HR requirements within the Company with regards to both permanent employees and temporary workers.
  • Develop, write and implement new policies, systems and procedures in order to meet the needs of the Company.
  • Be aware of all changes to the REC Code of Conduct.
  • Keep up to date with CIPD best practice ensuring that appropriate best practice is adopted as required.
  • Proactively assist with Client and External Audits
  • Assist Management with appraisals and arrange additional training/development as required for permanent staff.
  • Prepare tenders alongside the Directors as required and ensure that they are dispatched in a timely manner.
  • Assisting the Payroll function by entering timesheets in a timely and accurate manner. Entering new starter details and ensuring temps are paid correctly and that the BACS deadlines are met.
  • Assist the Credit Controller with ledgers and reports.

Skills & Experience Required

You will be very computer literate. Experience with Sage Payroll and Sage Accounts Software is an advantage. It would be expected for you to have some knowledge of a payroll system. Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. A couple of years payroll administration experience and or experience within a HR Role.
